About us

The Liberal Jewish Community (LJG) Amsterdam is a flourishing vibrant community with a membership numbering more than 1,800 people. The community is served by two rabbis, a pastoral worker, a director, and other staff as well as large number of volunteers. The volunteer leadership is provided by our Board of Directors and the committees that support many of the activities of the  community. The staff members employed by the LJG Amsterdam work closely with a host of wonderful volunteers who give of themselves to ensure that the community can provide the very best to its members and visitors. Together the staff and volunteers keep the community exciting, lively and going strong.
